Tenterden, Kent, United Kingdom, 11th May 2023 – The team at Hukins Hops in St Michael’s, near Tenterden, Kent are getting ready for another season in the hop gardens with their fantastic fresh and dried hop garlands now available for sale on pre-order for Augusts and September 2023.
The hop plants are starting to grow up the hop strings at pace during the late Spring and Summer nights, with everyone at the farm keeping a close eye on them to ensure they are in the best condition possible at harvest time.
Ross Hukins, Hukins Hops said ‘it’s an extremely busy time of year, but we put the hard work in now to ensure that our hops are looking fantastic and ready to harvest in optimum condition. Hukins Hops offers fresh hop garlands for sale along with dried hop garlands. Hop Garlands are available to pre-order now on the Hukins Hops website. You are able to choose a date for dispatch later in 2023 and have your hop garland delivered to your door by courier.
The fresh hop garlands are a top seller for good reason, as they slowly dry out over time to the same kiln dried state, and also last around the same time as dried garlands. Vibrantly green in colour and mellowing out over time, they are selected by hand by the team to ensure only the fullest vines are sent out to customers around the United Kingdom.
Dried hop garlands allow you to have a superb floral decoration all year round, with these sage green coloured hop garlands kiln dried in the oasts on the farm. As with the fresh hop garlands, each measures between 2.5 – 3m in length.
Many customers hang the decoration hops up in their living room or kitchen, however, Hukins Hops also supply florists, event planners and wedding planners, along with pubs, restaurants, creative spaces and beautiful home decorators.
You can also visit the farm in Kent to pick up your own hop garlands if you prefer to choose your own hop garland to buy. In September, Hukins Hops will be hosting their annual Pick Your Own Hops Event and this year you will also be able to select your own hop garland.
